I am licensed holistic counsellor, health and personal development coach and mentor, which means I use four approaches: psychodynamic, humanistic, existential and transpersonal. This means I can be flexible, adapting the different tools to the client, focussing wherever the growth needs to go and the uniqueness of the clients’ needs.

I hold and provide a safe non-judgemental environment where you can develop and mature at your own pace. I like to take an active part in the work we do as I view the therapeutic relationship as a co-creative process.

I believe that as social beings we are wired for connectivity and that we are constantly seeking to connect therefore being seen, felt, understood and supported can be the most powerful relational experience that will create the agent of change. I believe that it is the relationship that heals.

I have a keen interest in the exploration of clients coming from different cultures who are struggling to find their roots and questioning their identity. I see a lot of international people who have been travelling and changing countries and as a result they have developed a loss of identity due their multicultural aspect. Transpersonal therapy addresses the fundamental question that human beings have asked throughout ages: “who am I?”.

As a holistic practitioner, rather than treating just the symptoms, I look deeper to uncover underlying causes of client’s health or mental issue. I look at the interconnectedness of the body, mind and spirit to help facilitate wellness. In my work I use an integrative approach to healing the mind, while supporting the client’s spiritual health in the process, taking into account the client’s life experience, emotional health, and the effects of their behaviours and circumstances to understand the root of the problem within psychological and spiritual contexts.

Holistic counselling can be used alongside conventional treatments or as a stand-alone treatment for a mental health condition. It does not have any harmful effects. Instead, it relieves the adverse effects of standard medications and improves the quality of life.

As a holistic practitioner, I offer broad range of health-related services which address an array of mental and emotional health problems that eventually affect the physical body when left untreated such as depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction and suicidal thoughts among others, neurosis.

Holistic counselling may help you achieve:

  • A greater ability to cope with traumas such as death, divorce and abuse
  • Emotional wellbeing
  • A more peaceful, centred approach to life
